Reservations opening for spring camping at new sites near Kelowna, other B.C Parks
People wishing to explore the great outdoors can start reserving campsites in B.C. this week, including dozens of new ones near Kelowna.
Camping reservations have opened for B.C. Parks campgrounds so people can secure their sites for the spring. Sites can be reserved four months in advance.
The province said 60 new campsites have been added at three B.C. Parks this year, including 30 sites with power hookups in Fintry Park near Kelowna. The other sites are located at Rolley lake Park near Mission and at China Beach Campground in Juan de Fuca Park near Victoria.
The province added Fintry Park has been upgraded with new flush toilets, service centres with a dishwashing station, a potable water tap, and garbage/recycling containers. The upgrades were made with a $1.5-million investment from the province.
