UPDATE: No injuries reported in Highway 97 crash Wednesday morning

UPDATE: 2:50 p.m., Dec. 4
A vehicle collision on Highway 97 north of Vernon did not result in any injuries.
Vernon North Okanagan RCMP told Vernon Matters that the collision on the highway near Greenhow Rd. occurred around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4.
Police said a transport truck was attempting to make a turn when it collided with a passenger vehicle that was travelling in the same direction.
No injuries were reported.
Traffic was temporarily restricted along the highway following the crash until the truck and vehicle could be removed from the road.

Traffic was stopped in both directions on Highway 97a this morning after a collision involving a tractor trailer and a car just after 9 am.

The incident occurred just north of the Swan Lake junction.

Traffic began moving again slowly just after 9:30. We will have more information as it becomes available.
