Non-profit and realtor hosting barbecue and photos with Santa event

The NONA Child Development Centre and John Christmas will host a community barbecue by the fire and photos with Santa event Friday afternoon.

NONA (North Okanagan Neurological Association), will host the event with the local realtor in its parking lot at 2802 34th Street from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6.

The event will be part of NONA’s Lights for Kids and Christmas’s Light Tour, which helps support NONA from Dec. 1 through 31.

The event will feature photos with Santa Clause, a space where children can write their letters to Santa, a by-donation community barbecue, two prize giveaways, goodie bags for children courtesy of Match Eatery and Public House, and a bonfire and heated outdoor eating area.

“We are so excited to bring the community together for this event as part of the NONA Lights for Kids with John Christmas Light Tour,” Helen Armstrong, Executive Director of NONA, said.
