Cross Country Trails Open Nov. 15

SilverStar opening Nordic trails early

Cross country skiers will be able to hit the trails earlier than anticipated.

SilverStar Mountain Resort announced it will open 17 kilometres of Nordic trails Friday, Nov. 15.

“We’re excited to kick off the season on a high note, opening our upper Cross-Country trails a week ahead of our scheduled Nordic Opening,” SilverStar’s Communications and PR Specialist, Megan Sutherland, said.

“It’s awesome to have all the new snow, so we can get guests up here enjoying winter early!”

Only upper trails will have tracks for cross country skiing, and those will open at 8:30 a.m. Friday.
