The City of Vernon has lifted its swim advisories for the beaches at Okanagan Lake.
The advisories were issued for the beaches from Kin to Paddlewheel Tuesday, Aug. 6, due to a sewer line break in the area and possible water contamination.
The city lifted the advisories Friday, Aug. 9, after water quality testing showed the bacterial levels were within the acceptable range set in the Guidelines for Canadian Recreational Water Quality.
