West Kelowna RCMP investigating theft of five watercraft

Police in West Kelowna are investigating the theft of five watercraft over a nine day period.

The RCMP stated three boats, each on an individual trailer, plus two Sea-Doo’s on another trailer, were reported stolen from the Okanagan Lake Resort between July 17 and 26.

The total value of the vessels is over $260,000, and Mounties believe they were all stolen by the same person or group of people.

The three stolen boats include:

  • A primarily red hulled 2014 Stingray, 212SC, with a white interior, sitting on a 2014 EZ Loader black boat trailer
  • A black and white 2011 Campion Svfara SV3, on a 2007 black ShoreLand’s boat trailer
  • A green and black 2014 Sanger Indmar 60, on a 2014 VM Pro black trailer

The Sea-Doo’s, both of which were on the same 2012 Triton boat trailer, are decribed as:

  • A black and white 2014 Supercharged Rotax Wakepro 215(4) Sea-Doo
  • A black and white 2014 GT 1130 Sea-Doo

Anyone with information on the thefts or the whereabouts of the watercraft is asked to contact the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-2880 and quote file #2024-43238, or to file an anonymous tip with Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
