DIY Air Filter Workshop to go in Vernon

An event where people can build their own air filtration system will be held in Vernon.
The City of Vernon said the Do It Yourself (DIY) Air Filter workshop will be held at the Civic Memorial Building Wednesday, August 7.
The workshop will provide participants with the items and blueprints needed to build an air filter that can capture particulate matter from wildfire smoke, allergens, and airborne viruses.
All the materials needed will be provided free to the participants.
