Music in the Park concert series continues in West Kelowna

A free show is planned for Friday as part of the City of West Kelowna’s Music in the Park concert series.

The show on July 26 will be headlined by Janis Janus and the Heat Lightning’s “Visit With Janis Joplin’s Ghost.”

The band Cod Gone Wild will open the concert at 6:30 p.m. at the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre at Memorial Park.

Janis Janus and the Heat Lightning will take the stage at 8 p.m.

Attendees can park at the Westbank First Nations lands off Carrington Court. Accessible parking is available and there’s also a drop-off option.

The free concert series goes every Friday at Memorial Park until August 23rd with bands performing from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. A schedule of the acts can be seen at the city’s website.
