Downed line leads to power outage in North Vernon

Residences and businesses in Vernon’s north end were without power for a few hours Tuesday.
B.C. Hydro reported a wire went down near Pleasant Valley Road, knocking out power for 1,751 customers at 8:49 a.m. July 16.
Crews were dispatched to the site and were able to have power restored by 11:20 a.m.
