Mounties respond to about 170 files in Kelowna during Canada Day
Kelowna RCMP had a busy Canada Day.
The RCMP said through July 1 and into the early hours of July 2, officers in the city responded to approximately 170 files.
The incidents ranged from thefts to impaired driving, to causing disturbances, and to missing persons. The RCMP noted all missing people during the day were located.
Officers patrolling in vehicles, on foot, on bike and on police boats throughout the day arrested 15 individuals for causing a disturbance by being drunk in public.
