Conservative Party of B.C. raises record amount

Jul 3, 2024 | 11:10 AM

The Conservative Party of B.C. is reporting its best fundraising quarter in it’s history.

The right-wing party led by John Rustad, said it raised $1.1 million in donations in the second quarter of 2024.

Rustad said the money will play a critical role in funding their efforts to hold David Eby and the NDP accountable for their failed policies.

“Whether it’s drugs flooding our streets or a carbon tax making life less affordable, the NDP clearly do not represent common sense in our province. We will present a better vision for B.C..we are the vehicle for change,” Rustad, MLA for Nechako Lakes, said.

Conservative Party executive director Angelo Isidorou said they are honoured and thrilled to have the support of so many grassroots British Columbians.

“This was the best fundraising quarter in our party’s history. Our momentum is picking up speed as more and more voters see us as the only viable alternative to the radical BC NDP,” Isidorou stated.

The party said it will soon have a full slate of 93 candidates ready to run in this October’s B.C. election.
