KF Aerospace founder named to Order of Canada

The founder and chairman of KF Aerospace has been named to the Order of Canada.

Kelowna businessman and philanthropist Barry LaPointe started the company as Kelowna Flightcraft more than 50 years ago.

It has grown to become one the largest commercial aircraft maintenance companies in North America.

The Order of Canada was created in Canada’s centennial year of 1967 to honour people who make extraordinary contributions to the nation.
