Sudden death in Vernon park

RCMP officers were conducting an investigation at a Vernon park Tuesday morning.
The Mounties were responding to a sudden death at Lakeview Park in the 3000 block of 18th Street in East Hill.
Media relations officer, Cpl. Tania Finn, said a deceased person was located.
“Police determined no criminality is suspected in the death and the BC Coroners Service is also conducting an independent and concurrent fact-finding investigation to determine how, where, when and by what means they came to their unexpected death,” Finn told Vernon Matters.
