WHL Rockets announce pre-season schedule and new Saturday start time

The Kelowna Rockets will start the 2024-25 season with four pre-season games, and will also introduce an earlier start time for its games on Saturdays.

The team said its Saturday home games will start at 6:05 p.m., an hour earlier, while Wednesday and Friday games will remain at 7:05 p.m.

Kelowna will open the 2024 pre-season on the road against the Kamloops Blazers at the Sandman Centre on September 6, with the Rockets hosting the Blazers the next night on September 7.

The Rockets will then wrap up their pre-season schedule with a pair of games the following weekend, hosting the Vancouver Giants on September 14, and visiting the Giants in Langley on September 15.

The WHL’s regular season schedule will be unveiled Tuesday, June 25.
