It was a cool and wet weekend across most of the Southern Interior, which led to 10 B.C. communities breaking weather records.

Environment Canada said Kelowna, Kamloops, Penticton and Summerland were among the areas that set minimum temperature records on Sunday, June 16.

The mercury in Kelowna reached 13.3 degrees Celsius, breaking the old mark of 15.0 set in 1906.
