Jun 14, 2024 | 12:00 PM

Music, artisan vendors, food and more will be on tap for the first ever Polson Park Palooza.

The event, organized by the Vernon-Okanagan Inspired Community Events (VOICE) Society, will see two bands take to the stage at the park’s amphitheatre for a free concert Friday, June 14.

Miina, previously known as Carmanah, will headline the first installment of the Polson Park Palooza series.

Miina’s hit song “Roots” has received a lot of airplay and coverage, and the band is set to perform their new single “Pressure” at the event in Vernon.

Minna will take the stage at 8 p.m. Norsu will open the entertainment at 7 p.m.

Along with Polson Park Palooza going on at the downtown Vernon park, the Polson Artisan Market will be set up from 5-8 p.m., featuring stalls from roughly 50 vendors.

The VOICE Society, which is putting on Polson Park Palooza in partnership with Tourism Vernon and the Province of British Columbia, invites people of all ages down to the park to listen to the free live music.
