Coldstream sports fields reopen

The District of Coldstream has rescinded its sports field and ball diamond closures.

The facilities at Creekside, Coldstream and Lavington Parks were closed Monday, June 3, due to the rain causing the ground to be saturated and putting the turf at risk of damage.

Sports fields and ball diamonds in Vernon were also closed Monday.

The District stated Tuesday, June 4, that the fields and ball diamonds were once again open and available for use.
