BC United announces candidate for Kelowna-Mission
A tech entrepreneur will run for BC United in the Kelowna-Mission riding in this fall’s B.C. election.
Ashley Ramsay will be the party’s candidate in what has been a BC Liberal stronghold, replacing one-term MLA Renee Merrifield who decided not to seek re-election.
The BC Conservatives have nominated Alexandra Wright, while the NDP and Green parties have yet to name candidates.
BC United describes Ramsay as a well-known figure in Kelowna’s vibrant tech industry, having founded the animation studio, Yeti Farm Creative.
