The BC Wildfire Service says a spot-sized wildfire in the Westside Road area west of Vernon is now under control.
The blaze was discovered on Sunday near Nashwito Road and is believed to be human caused.
That’s one of four wildfires in the Kamloops Fire Centre Monday as of 10:30 a.m.
Another one is at Dutton Creek north of Oliver at 4.3 hectares in size, and being held.
That fire is also believed to be human-caused.
