Man dies after accident at ski resort

One man is dead after an accident at Sun Peaks Resort near Kamloops.

In a brief news release, the resort said its ski patrol responded to the incident Thursday (Mar. 21) to find an injured adult man. The resort says he has since succumbed to his injuries.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of life of our guest and our thoughts are with their family and friends,” Sun Peaks Resort stated.

The resort adds it’s cooperating with the RCMP’s investigation, and it will not release further information.
