Skier taken to hospital following incident

A person involved in what was described as a “skiing-related incident” was taken to hospital Tuesday morning.

BC Emergency Health Services confirmed that an ambulance responded to a helicopter at the Vernon Airport at approximately 9:53 a.m.

Paramedics were tasked with caring for a person involved in what EHS described “skiing-related incident,” and transported them to hospital.

EHS did not provide further details on the case, including the location in which the incident occurred, or the condition of the patient.
