Missing person found dead

A person who was last seen in Vernon has been found deceased.

Vernon North Okanagan said the person, a 32-year old man, was last seen in Vernon on Dec. 18, 2023.

On Monday, March 4, Mounties said the body of the missing man was found.

Criminality was not suspected in the person’s death.

The RCMP did not provide the name or other details of the individual, but did express condolences to the person’s family and friends.
