The Body Shop closing Vernon store and 32 others

Another national retailer is about to disappear from some malls across the country including in Vernon.

The Body Shop has announced it is closing 33 of its 105 stores and halting its e-commerce operations.

The company is looking to restructure under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.

Liquidation sales have started at the impacted outlets including the one at Vernon’s Village Green Shopping Centre

It’s not known how many workers will be impacted.

The Body Shop Canada is immediately commencing liquidation sales at the following 33 closing stores:
