Tickets still available for marquee Winter Carnival events

Vernon Winter Carnival is just a couple of weeks away and organizers are generating interest about two of the high-profile events.

VIP tickets have been released for the SnowGlobe Concert Feb. 3 at the Vernon Rec Centre auditorium, featuring The Dirt Road Kings and Cod Gone Wild.

VIP tickets cost $50 and include:

• Early access doors 6 p.m.

• Dedicated VIP entrance

Regular price tickets are $35 and they are available at this link.

Carnival also has tickets available for Sip & Savour on opening night, Feb. 2, at the Vernon Rec Centre.

Those cost $35 and include entry and two tasting tokens.

“Over 22 vendors (beer, wine, cider, food). Purchase tasting tokens for $3 at the event,” a carnival news release said.

Carnival is also accepting online auction items, too. All proceeds go to Vernon Winter Carnival Society.
