GPS tracker makes it safer on the slopes
Guests at Big White Ski Resort will have a little more peace of mind when they hit the slopes this season, as skiKrumb, an innovative and easy-to-use GPS-enabled device will be available at the most popular resort.
skiKrumb provides peace of mind to parents on the ski hill, thanks to a long-lasting battery, and advanced technology that reaches users where cell phones and other GPS-enabled trackers cannot.
skiKrumb is the first on-mountain GPS tracker available for public rental in the world. “As an Okanagan parent who spent many days with my kids on the ski hill, I couldn’t be more excited to be launching skiKrumb at Big White Ski Resort this season,” Keith MacIntyre, Founder and CEO of skiKrumb said. “skiKrumb was borne from my experience of getting separated from my son on the ski hill several years ago, and after years of research and development, I’m pleased to be unveiling a solution that will help give parents peace of mind at the resort, and help keep fun the focus this season.”
skiKrumb devices are available for pick-up at Mountain Lifestyle Outlets on Highway 33 in Kelowna.. Additional pick-up locations will be announced in the coming weeks.
