Death of Kamloops man and his dog was homicide: RCMP
RCMP say a Kamloops man who was found dead along with his dog in the Inks Lake area over the weekend was the victim of a homicide.
The man and his dog were found on Saturday afternoon (Dec. 16), not far away from the green Ford Explorer he had been driving.
In a news release, RCMP spokesperson Cpl. James Grandy said the Southeast District Major Crime Unit (SED MCU) has taken over the investigation.
Grandy said the victim has been identified as Mark Hoffman. A previous news release indicated he was in his 50s.
