Vernon pub toasts new ownership

Vernon’s popular downtown brewpub has been sold to new owners, with the deal closing November 27.

“It is with mixed emotions, yet great anticipation, that we share some news regarding The Marten Brewing Company. As of November 27, 2023, this beloved establishment will be under new ownership. The past decade of building the brewery to serving its beers has been an incredible journey for us. Serving you and being a part of this vibrant community has been our honour,” founders Stefan and Pearl Martens stated on social media.

The new owner was only identified as PJ in another post.

“We warmly welcome PJ, the proud new owner of Marten Brewing Company. Born and raised here in beautiful British Columbia, and ready to bring fresh vibes to this amazing brewery in the heart of downtown Vernon. PJ is all community, greats brews and good vibes,” the company post stated.
