Music legend to make Vernon stop

Tickets are expected to sell fast as a Canadian music legend plays in Vernon this fall.

Tom Cochrane will perform at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre Monday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m.

Tom Cochrane and his various bands have firmly cemented themselves as a popular arena and large festival touring act across Canada in the past few decades. However, this fall, Cochrane will be performing a series of intimate theatre shows in British Columbia. Fans in Vernon and region will be happy to note that they will get the chance to see and hear one of the all time greats in Canada in a theatre setting. Cochrane, 70, from Lynn Lake, Manitoba, has won eight Juno Awards with Red Rider and as a solo artist, plus multiple songwriter awards.
