Vernon water main breaks on non-potable system

Water was spewing over a Vernon street this morning.

A water main broke on Alexis Park Drive before 9 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24

The city confirmed the break but added it was on the non-potable irrigation system.

“There is no service disruption for residential properties in the area,” Christy Poirier, city communications manager, told Vernon Matters.

At last report, crews were working on repairs.
