A road upgrade in Coldstream has seen some delays but is still expected to be done before schools are back in session next month.
The District of Coldstream said the road rehabilitation project on McClounie Road, which is where Kalamalka Secondary is located, has experienced minor delays due to the wildfire situation in the region.
“Minor supply and transportation interruptions have been experienced but paving is expected to resume on Wednesday, August 23,” Brad Mills, operations superintendent, said.
Once the paving is done, the road will reopen to the public.
