New management for Vernon pizza place

A Vernon pizza restaurant is under new management.

Top Choice Pizza, which is owned by the Vernon-based Dahl Group of Companies, said the new managing partner for the take-out restaurant on 29th Avenue is Lisa Kenny.

“Lisa Kenny has over 20 years of restaurant management experience throughout B.C., most recently with A&W Restaurants,” Sherman Dahl, president, told Vernon Matters.

Britney Kenny is the store manager.

Top Choice Pizza has been open since 1986, and was bought by the Dahl Group in 2020 from Val and Buzz Heemskerk.

“We purchased this business from the very well known Val, and she was the heart of Top Choice pizza for years. We have been trying to find someone as good as her ever since. Now we have, thank goodness,” Dahl told Vernon Matters.

Dahl added Lisa Kenny is a senior manager and director of Vernon Catering and Hospitality which also operates Vernon Catering, 1516 Pub and Grill, Wings Vernon and The Italian Kitchen Company.
