New photos released on Amber Alert suspect and vehicle

RCMP say the mother of two children who are the focus of an Amber Alert, was seen on video in a grocery store in Kamloops on July 15.

Police say Verity Bolton’s children, ten-year-old Joshuah and eight-year-old Aurora, were not seen in the store, as the hunt for the family members from the Lower Mainland continues.

“At the time, Verity Bolton was dressed all in all black, wearing a black baseball cap and black sunglasses,” Cpl. Vanessa Munn with Surrey RCMP said.

Mounties have released new images of Verity Bolton along with a white horse or utility trailer being towed by a blue 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck (B.C. license plate SJ2 708) that the Bolton’s are believed to be using.

The Surrey RCMP Serious Crime Unit has assumed conduct of the investigation and is actively liaising with Kamloops RCMP.

“Our investigators are following up on all tips received and continue to pursue all possible investigative avenues to bring Aurora and Joshuah home safely,” Munn said.

CTV News says a man identifying himself as the kids’ father posted on Facebook late Wednesday afternoon.

“They would be travelling with their mother and a man and three puppies, two are about six months old and look similar and one puppy, likely pulling an RV as well,” Paul Beauregard posted.

Police said they are concerned for the mother’s mental health and her ability to care for the children.

The Amber Alert was issued on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 19.

RCMP say the family members were last seen at a Kelowna restaurant June 30.

The alert was issued after Verity Bolton didn’t return the children to their father as she was supposed to, after a vacation in the Okanagan.
