New pharmacy touching down in Landing Plaza

Residents of South Vernon and Okanagan Landing will soon have a new pharmacy in the neighbourhood.

Care Connect IDA Pharmacy has taken over the former Vantage One Credit Union location in the Landing Plaza on 25th Avenue.

An opening date for the new store has not been announced.

Guardian, I.D.A., and Remedy’sRx pharmacies are independently owned and operated by local pharmacists. There are over 1,400 locations coast to coast.

“Each pharmacy is unique, but they all are united in the pledge to uphold what being an independent pharmacy stands for – empowering patients to live a healthy life by providing unrivaled, compassionate, holistic health care,” the company’s website stated.

I.D.A. has been around since 1932, when the Independent Druggists’ Alliance (I.D.A.) was first established in Canada.
