BC Cancer reps going door to door in Vernon
Vernon residents may be getting a knock on their door from a representative of the BC Cancer Foundation.
The foundation said canvassers have started door to door visits in the community to introduce residents to their monthly donor program.
“Monthly donations support life-saving cancer research and innovations to patient care taking place at BC Cancer, helping to change outcomes for people facing cancer across B.C.,” Colleen Hamilton, communications specialist with the foundation, said.
For security and safety reasons, all canvassers wear ID badges and BC Cancer Foundation teal vests. Canvassers are equipped with masks, and will maintain at least six feet of distance when interacting with people at their door.
