Season-high crowd takes in Vipers holiday tilt with Trail

Kal Tire Place was full of families on Family Day.

A season-high crowd of 2,937 came out to watch the Vernon Vipers and Trail Smoke Eaters on the holiday Monday.

They saw a tight game with Adam Marshall scoring at 2:17 into the first overtime to give Trail a 3-2 win.

Walker Erickson and Luke Pakulak netted the Vipers goals as Vernon picked up 4 out of a possible 6 points in their three weekend games.
