Kamloops RCMP say bones discovered near Peterson Creek last week are confirmed to be the remains of a missing Kelowna man.

In a news release issued Friday (Jan. 27) morning, RCMP say they do not suspect criminality in 42-year-old Joseph Driscoll’s death and disappearance.

Driscoll was last seen walking through the Valleyview neighbourhood on the night of Nov. 11, 2022. Two months later, Kamloops RCMP were notified of bones that were found east of Peterson Creek in the afternoon on Jan. 19, 2023.
