The Reklaws to perform at Vernon Winter Carnival

Nov 14, 2022 | 10:00 AM

The 63rd annual Vernon Winter Carnival will feature a concert, which organizers are calling the biggest live music event to hit Vernon in years.

Carnival and A&W are presenting the 2023 Snowglobe Concert ‘Country Barn Burner’ on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023 at Kal Tire Place, featuring country music sensations The Reklaws.

There will also be a special musical guest (to be announced) and DJ Lunchboxx.

“This isn’t just a concert, it’s a must see Carnival event, with prizes for best dressed country gear and crew’s having the most fun. It will be Vernon’s largest party,” said Vicki Proulx, executive director of VWC.

The event will include a beverage garden and VIP areas. Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 18 through TicketSeller.ca.

“Get your tickets in the stands or join us in the Stompin’ Grounds on the floor,” Proulx said.

Born and raised in rural Ontario, The Reklaws are made up of sibling duo Jenna and Stuart Walker. The group had the fastest-ever Canadian country song to go gold in the streaming era, and has six 2021 CCMA Awards nominations, and two 2022 JUNO Awards nominations.
