Two Week Detour

Sewer upgrades planned for Okanagan Landing Road

A detour will be set up for a section of Okanagan Landing and Tronson Roads for sewer utility upgrades.

Crews are scheduled to begin work on the sewer system at the intersection of Okanagan Landing and Tronson Roads at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11.

The work will require a partial closure of the intersection and temporary left turn restrictions for a few weeks.

The work will require southbound traffic on Okanagan Landing and eastbound traffic on Tronson to be rerouted.

The work is expected to take two weeks to complete, barring any unforseen delays.

Access to area businesses will remain open.

Motorists are advised to expect short delays and avoid the area if possible. Traffic measures will be in place and drivers are reminded to slow down in construction zones.
