Middleton Mountain housing development moving ahead

New single family homes and duplexes could start construction on the east slope of Middleton Mountain in Coldstream this fall.

Avillia Developments reports installation of underground infrastructure (electrical, communications and natural gas) is in the final stages, to be followed by paving work.

‘Morningview on Middleton‘ builders are preparing to begin show home construction and are actively selling in the community.

The four companies building homes in the development include Carriage Signature Homes, Everton Ridge Homes, Gibson Contracting and Kimberley Homes.

The 61-acre property has 28 acres designated for parks, trails and natural spaces.

A total of 131 lots are being created with 48 of those designated for duplexes.

Sarsons Road is being extended to connect the development to the road network.

The company purchased the property in 2018, and Coldstream council approved the zoning and subdivision plan in March 2021.
