Greater Vernon Minor Hockey holds open house

If you’ve ever wanted to try out minor hockey before signing up for the season, now is your chance.

The Greater Vernon Minor Hockey Association is holding an open house Saturday, Aug. 27 at Kal Tire Place North (KTPN) from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

People are welcome to drop by for a barbeque, hockey education sessions, and to meet the association’s board of directors that make the hockey season happen.

Kids can get outfitted in association gear prior to the session.
