Water fountains and refill stations available throughout Vernon

The City of Vernon is reminding residents and visitors to stay hydrated during this heat wave.

The city has several water fountains and refill stations throughout the community, as well as washrooms with potable water.

The map below shows the sites of the drinking water stations.

Water fountains can be found at Polson Park, at the downtown washroom on 30th Ave. at 35th St.; at the downtown bus loop washroom facility; at the Marshall Field’s soccer building and at Ranger Park.

There are also water bottle filling stations at the downtown and bus loop washrooms, at DND Park and at Marshall Field.

Washrooms with potable water can be found at MacDonald Park, Alexis Park, Grahame Park, Polson Park, Kin Beach Park, Paddlewheel Park and Marshall Field.
