Full list of Canada Day events in Armstrong and Enderby

Armstrong and Enderby will be showing their national pride with Canada Day events to celebrate the country’s 155th birthday.

Memorial Park will be the place to be in Armstrong, with activities starting at 11 a.m. with the singing of O’ Canada, the introduction of dignitaries and a presentation to 2022 Good Citizen of the Year Linda Fisher.

There will be performances throughout the afternoon, a free swim at the pool from 12:30 to 5:30, and a red and white community supper at 5:30 p.m.

The events will culminate with Valley First Music in the Park featuring The Goods at 7:00 p.m.

Enderby’s bash will be centered mostly at Barnes Park, with a live band, kids activities, a magician, a car show, free swimming, and a parade from Howard Ave. to the downtown at 11:30 a.m.

The singing of O’Canada and cutting the birthday cake will start at 12:45 p.m.

A pancake breakfast will kick-off the holiday at the Lions gazebo in Riverside Park from at 8:00 to 10:30 a.m.

Enderby will cap off its celebrations with fireworks at dusk.
