The Interior Provincial Exhibition will come storming out of the gate as it makes a return from two years of pandemic cancellations.

“It’s been a long two years and we are excited to see everyone again Aug. 31-Sept. 4, 2022,” said Heather King, fair general manager.

New for the Armstrong Fair, which is celebrating 121 years, is four nights of rodeo action starting Wednesday, Aug. 31, leading up to the CPRA Finals set for Saturday (Sept. 3).

Also new is the Canadian Professional Bull Riders (PBR) on Sunday, Sept. 4 featuring the top bull riders in the world against the best bulls in the industry.

“The PBR is not a rodeo; it is over two hours of intense bull riding action,” King explained

King said pre-sale tickets are now available until midnight August 30 including ride bracelet tickets, $40 presale family gate passes and $45 rodeo tickets at www.armstrongipe.com

“Don’t miss out. Get your tickets early for the best seats,” King advised.

King says the best way to see and experience the fair from start to finish is to submit an entry which could include something you bake, grow or a special picture.

“Enter from over 19 divisions both animals and non-animal divisions such as hobbies, vegetables, photography, sewing, baking or flowers. By entering as an exhibitor, you receive a ‘FREE’ five-day gate pass which enables you gate access to any or all of the five days of the IPE & Stampede,” said King.

The theme for the 2022 is Our Roots Run Deep.
