Kamloops woman wins Scratch and Win prize

A Kamloops woman had a very exciting morning.

The B.C. Lottery Corporation (BCLC) says Shari Swanson excitedly woke up her family after finding out she won the top prize of $25,000 from a crossword scratch and win game.

“I scanned it on the Lotto app and discovered it was the top prize of $25,000,” Swanson told the BCLC.

“I woke everyone up and they thought something was wrong!”
