No injuries in Kamloops house fire

Kamloops Fire Rescue were called out to a house fire Friday (Jan. 28) morning in the city’s downtown area.

Crews arrived at the home along 5th Avenue, between Nicola Street and Battle Street just before 7 a.m. Flames were spotted immediately by the fire crews.

KFR Captain Norm Little says no one was in the home when the four trucks and 14 firefighters arrived.

Crews were able to bring the fire under control quickly, however personnel remained on the scene to determine a cause of the blaze.
