A Kelowna woman said she though her eyes were “upside down” after finding out she had a $1-million Lotto 6/49 ticket.

Sherrill Atchinson purchased her ticket for the Sept. 22 draw from the Capri Cenre mall, where she later self-checked the ticket at the Independent Grocer.

Archison told the B.C. Lottery Corporation (BCLC) “I grabbed my friend and told her to come with me to verify the ticket and I remember saying, ‘I think my eyeballs are upside down’.”

She added that her friend didn’t believe she had won until she started bouncing up and down and showed them the ticket.
