Election day for Splatsin

Splatsin is holding its elections for band council and chief today.

Incumbent chief Wayne Christian is seeking another four year term facing challenges from Douglas Thomas and Randy Williams.

Eleven candidates are running for the five councillor positions, with voting being held at the Splatsin Community Centre at 5767 Old Vernon Road in Enderby.

The polls are open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
