Warriors win close battle with Vipers 4-3

The Vernon Vipers lost their third straight BCHL game, 4-3 to the West Kelowna Warriors Saturday night.

A crowd of 1,505 came out to see the game at Kal Tire Place.

Marcus Joughin from Tecumseh Ontario snapped a 3-3 tie with the winner for West K past Roan Clarke with just over 7 minutes to go on the third period.

Ryan Shostak, Cam MacDonald and Luke Pakulak scored for Vernon who fell to 6-11-3-3 through 23 games.

Next up for the Vipers will be a trip to Penticton to take on the BCHL-leading Vees Friday Dec. 17 at 7:00 p.m, Vernon’s second to last game before a holiday break.
