VIDEO: Drone footage shows extent of Merritt flooding

MERRITT, B.C. — Newly available drone footage shows the terrible situation Merritt residents are encountering with the massive flooding of the Coldwater River.

Rainfall caused by an atmospheric river swelled the Coldwater River to beyond 50-to-100-year levels.

The river spilled its banks and has led to widespread infrastructure failure.
