Minor traffic delays on Bella Vista Road

Travel along parts of a Vernon road will be a little slower going than normal for the next few days.

The City of Vernon says single lane alternating traffic will be in place at two locations on Bella Vista Road this week.

“The temporary traffic changes are required while crews locate existing utilities at Crosby Road and Appaloosa Way, and will happen at various times throughout the week,” a city news release stated.

The majority of work will take place off Bella Vista Road but intermittent single lane alternating traffic will be in place while excavation work takes place. Minor travel delays should be expected, and every effort will be made to minimize disruptions.
